I was so excited when Rachael and Will reached out to see if I could work with them. I knew their #idopart2 was going to be a beautiful and joyous occasion!
From the moment I arrived Rachael was beaming and smiling and the smiles never stopped. She had a fun morning getting ready with her bridesmaids in their matching bridal robes and popping open a bottle of Prosecco. After Rachael’s mother, Mary, and her bridesmaids helped her get into her wedding dress she headed out in a gorgeous white Rolls Royce with her mom.
We met up with the rest of the bridal party at Lake Katherine Nature Center and Botanic Gardens for a first look with Will. His reaction was priceless, you can see how much love he has for Rachael. We captured the bridal party photos and a few family portraits before heading to Gaelic Park.
Rachael and Will’s vow renewal ceremony was fun and emotional. There were a lot of laughs and a few happy tears. They had so many family and friends there supporting them, it was beautiful.
Once dinner began we heard four speeches from members of their bridal party and then the table race began. We ran to each table to capture a photo with every guest in attendance. I loved the unique and fun poses their family and friends came up with!
Will and Rachael shared a first dance, and we finally got to see her dress twirl! There were so many ohhs- and-ahhs when she spun, what a perfect moment. Rachael then danced with her mother and Will and his mother shared a dance following that. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room.
Then the party began and the dance floor filled up! I always love when there are kids at weddings, they liven up the dance floor and people crowd around to watch their crazy moves.
Rachael and Will had Original Rainbow Cone ice-cream served during the reception, which was a delicious sweet treat to end the night on.
